Team Objectives…

  • Improve our intern and long term staff evaluation and approval process. This would include: The application process. The “testing” process. The internship requirements. The internship location team acceptance process. The end of the internship evaluation and The long term staff acceptance process. The general idea is to add training and “testing” (when appropriate) to our processes that will improve our ability to make “good” decisions about staff.

  • Add resources to the AMU site: Appropriate books, web links, articles, dvd’s, etc. that will equip staff personally and help them make good decisions as well as mentor others.

  • Develop topics and plans related to onsite training: Schedule personnel to travel to each location to teach and spend time with the staff.

  • Work on a reentry curriculum and counseling program for returning staff.

  • Consider care plan for missionaries while on furlow.

  • Provide counseling to staff as needed.

  • Come up with a list of organizational traits that staff members need to be aware of. After identifying these organizational traits see if a compatibility test can be identified designed to measure for these qualities of compatibility.

  • Create a document that outlines expectations we have for a staff member as an organization with location specific details.
